Didn't one of the wqorlds first legal codification come from this area??

Code of Himabi??? Hibabi??/ " If a building fails the architect is to be put to
death."

1- Did the contractor build what he was paid to build?
2- If he didn't- where was the achitect during construction?
3- Or did the owner beat the architect's price down to exclude site visits?

I hear riding this am that the Turkish Bar is up in arms because the government
is clearing acres & tons of " evidence" in the course of the cleanup effort.
