Hey all,

In SW OH and SE IN where I grew up, many of the oldest houses and
churches have two front doors. They are Shaker houses, well constructed
and standing the test of time. I believe there are many in central KY as
well. This religious sect kept strict segregation of men and women. Each
gender had a door.

Probably some in upstate NY as well, I think that is where they originated.
