it's a hand mic,  I much prefer desk mics personally for everything but
don't have one on my duel band radio, too much control would be lost, they
really need a nice base 2 meter radio with the DTMF buttons on the front so
we can use a desk mic with it, that or a desk mic with the DTMF pad on the
mic.
