	Yup, I got it, Jim.

Seems very easy to navigate.

I should also point out that the html version I have has the front panel
layout included in it. It's the layout found on ICanWorkThisThing.

Steve:

Last night, I got the quick guide and key chart that you and Bob created
from icanworkthisthing.com. For some reason, I was unsuccessful in
downloading the manual from the site, but another lister (John, N1UMJ) sent
it to me.

I understand that there are some other audio demos on the handiham web site
as well, so I'll check them out too.

Thanks to all for your quick response to this quiry.

Tom,

There is plenty of documentation at ICanWork ThisThing.com on the TS-2000
including a Keychart that I along with lister Bob Tinny wrote up about ten
years ago. It describes the keyboard layout and the function of each key
including what it does when used with the function key.

There is a manual up there as well as a list of the program codes.

John:

I just e-mailed you off list, so if you wouldn't mind sending me those
TS2000 materials, that would be great.

Thanks much!

The TS-2000 takes the VS-3, not the VGS1. IF you don't have those files yet
let me know, send me a email off list at [log in to unmask] and I'll just
send you everything I have. As you know I use mine daily. Honestly, it looks
a lot more intimidating than it actually is.

                Hello, everyone.

Well, today, our work at the county EOC was reasonably successful.

We got the TS2000 up and running on both VHF and HF.

I got the chance to play around with the rig a bit, and I am convinced that
I can learn its basic functions and features if given some time to do so,
especially since the VGS1 chip is installed.

To help in this endeavor, I have downloaded and saved the TS2000 quick guide
and key chart from icanworkthisthing.com.

I also found the manual there, but could not seem to download it. If anyone
has a clean text copy of the manual, please send it to me at:

[log in to unmask]

If there are other files that might help me in learning the rig, I'd
appreciate them too.

I'd like to get at least reasonably comfortable with the TS2000, should I be
called upon to operate it at the EOC for any needed emergency
communications.

Thank you!
