Hi Steve:

Yes I'm aware of this which is why I'm now considering one of these well renowned antennas.
I'm kind of interested in the DXB my self though as its a single wire at 60 feet long and has a low operating hight capability.
I have picked out a couple of fairly tall trees, about 100 feet apart to string this on.
These trees are at least 50 feet tall and are away from power lines. A somewhat better location then where my tower is. If I could only figure out a way to get an antenna up there with out climbing! LOL
Its where I had my vary 1ST HF antenna and I haven't had good success since I moved it out of there. Couldn't put my tower in that spot because it would have been placed right in the middle of my Dad's driveway leading to the barn.
Don't think a wire up about 50 feet over it will matter though. My 1ST antenna was only up about 20 feet or so in those trees, reached that hight with a ladder. Wished I could have had it at the tops! LOL
On the DXB for a moment, can it tune on 20/15M with a tuner? I know its resonant for 160/30M. Not overly interested in 160.
