Two ways to do this.
press insert J to bring up the JAWS interface.
Then go to the help menu and go down to start up Wizard.
The first step or second step will allow you to stop they JAWS start.
The second option is to take the first menu and take the first menu choice, I think it is called basic, and the JAWS start up will be their.
