hey butch:
the mods on line that i found for the v7A make it work up to almost one
gig...the receive coverage claims 118-174, 320 to 470 and 800 to 999MHZ or
something similar.
Its a matter of which jumpers are left in and which are taken out to decide
where the radio will receive, the mod also opens up tx for all those freqs
except the 800-999 portion.
