Hi Colin,

No, I don't know Japanese, I was hoping that someone on the list might be 
able to enlighten us, HI HI!

I have seen some posts on the Kenwood list where guys are saying that the 
transceiver looks ugly or like a refurbished ts570.  One guy made a comment 
that he could see two receiver frequencies on the display, so it might be a 
dual hf receiver rig.  Also some local hams who watched the video said that 
they could see no model number on this rig.

I don't mean to be a nay sayer, but unless you understand japanese, the
average blind ham will get absolutely nothing out of these vidios hi.
perhaps you do speak japanese, and if so, can you translate a bit and let us
in on the new rig if it is indeed a new rig they were demoing?
I caught compact HF transceiver and a bunch of stuff about APRS and that was
all lol.
