Walter, if the pdf is graphical, you will have to turn it in to text before 
any screen reader can read it.  If you have a program like k1000 or 
openbook, you can use them to turn the file in to text, if you are lucky.
PDF magic, and the pdf converter that is a part of webie might work as well.
If none of the above are options, send me the file and I'll give it a try.
