Hi Michael,

I used one of those antennas years ago. In fact, I tried several and was impressed with their performance until it rained.

Despite claims to the contrary, I found that the units took on water, which effectively killed them off.

This was despite sealing the obvious holes with the sealant provided.

I can only presume that, if you want to use one of those antennas, you need to virtually immerse the balun and matching unit in Silicon before exposing them to the elements.
