Hi list.

I have a Cushcraft R7 ground mounted in the back yard, and a G5RV
temporarily installed in the addic.
I plan to put the G5RV up outside this summer.
The G5RV won't tune below 20 with out a manual tuner.
I have them both hooked up to a three antenna switch, the switch has a
ground setting.
The other day I found that when the switch is set to ground that the
antenna, or antennas will tune on 80, and 160 with the tuner in my TS-2000.
My question is, if it will tune, is it safe to transmit on those bands?

Thanks in advance, and 7 3.
