I don't have a ts-2000, but I have a couple of questions.
Since you would be purchasing very good, but 16 year old technology, I'd be
concerned about the long term availability of parts.
Do you need the vhf/uhf and higher capability?

The radios only talk when you push the right button on the radio.
I don't know if the 2000 knows about USB connections of not.

That 751 is a great HF radio.

I am thinking about investing in a ts2000. As a blind person how do you us=
e this radio? Does it have speech? I read that you can control it by a co=
mputer too. How does that work with the computer? Do you hear the radio a=
nd the computer speak at the same time? Just not sure how this all goes to=
gether. My icom 751A has speech but can't be controlled by computer like t=
he newer rigs. Any advice or input is appreciated.
