hey all:
A new ham locally just perchased one of these brand new tri-band mobile
Yaesu rigs...the FT M350.
The features and functions are quite incredible on this thing.
One of those features is the ability to install the "voice guide" option.
This voice guide feature will read current VFO frequency, band, memory
channels, menus and received APRS messages.
has anyone been able to play with this radio yet with the voice guide
feature installed?
the radio is a bit pricy at $589...but the voice guide option is only around
$27.
the rig is a typical dual bander, but also has QRP on the 220MHZ band at 1w
output.
It has blue tooth capability, along with a whole host of other pretty neat
features that most of us have only dreamed about in a radio.

I don't really care to hear, again, the opinions on Yaesu gear that i've
heard countless times...I'm just wondering if anyone has had their paws on
this thing yet...or if they plan to.
