Hi Howard,
I have read those files and the only one that was helpful was the file on 
menus.  The tutorials were some what helpful, but the last file only talked 
about why, how, of the radio design.  Gary KB2YAA

The jack on the head is a sterrio jack for headphones.
The speaker jack is under a plate that hides 3 jacks on the front of the
actual radio.
