Hi;
Thanks for all the echo link info.  Somehow while fighting with firewall 
issues it appears this was changed from single user to multi-user.  When I 
changed it back my friendly beep returned at the end of transmissions.  I 
was also now able to change to the right control for transmit with no 
problems.
Lets hope echo link is a done deal for a while.  Now that it works I 
probably won't use it much but it is something in my list of finished 
projects.
