Hi Butch,

The band select switch is the number two key on the keypad.  When you are
not in the frequency mode hit that key two meters is the low tone.  220 is
the next tone of higher pitch.  440 may be accessed by pressing the key for
a third time.  The tone you hear from the 440 band is the same pitch as the
220 tone.  So as long as you know that two meters is the low tone you can
toggle all of the bands by going through all 3 positions.  Use the low "2
meter tone" as your reference.  I hope this helps.  If you have any other
