I beg to disagree with your statement on tentec.
I submit to you elecraft.

Not only did they develop an add-on box for their k2 to read out in cw,
they then built cw output into their most recently released rig; the kx1.

They too are a small company, and have, up until now, catored to a small
subgroup of the ham community, the qrp crowd.

However, they found the resources to design and manufacture something for
our special needs.

Finally, I forwarded a specific promise from Elecraft's chief designer and
cofounder to include accessibility in all future radios to this very list.

Sorry, no excuses accepted for tentec, yaesu, or even icom. The ham
population is aging, and therefore, will eventually need
accessibility. The big names just refuse to se that.
My hat is off to Elecraft, Small wonder labs, and many other qrp kit
manufacturers who include access for us.
