Try menu 5:  Voice announcement volume.

Once in the menu, press  the knob on the left-hand side of the radio again.
... Then turn the knob to select your preferred volume level.

Hi All,

How do you turn down the speech volume on the TM-V71A?  I see in the menu
how to adjust the beep volume and the speed of the voice and a few other
things about the speech but not the volume.  I appreciate any help.
