Ok, I'm operational.

Unfortunately, even though I followed the configuration suggestions in the
Home Router setup on Echolink, I couldn't get it to open a connection.  The
only way I can do it is through the demilitarized zone.

But, with my internet security package, even with the router in DMZ mode,
the Shields Up Internet Security Test and port nanoprobe all appear to be in
stealth mode.  So, I'm comfortable for now working Echolink under this
configuration.\
