Hi all:

Does anyone have any experience with controlling an echolink node with an HT or mobile with a DTMF mic?
I'm purchasing an HT in the next couple of weeks and I'd like to be able to check the echolink net on friday evenings via the following method:
1ST I'd connect to 1 of my repeaters here in NL that's linked to another repeater that has an echolink node and in tern, connect to the KY2D repeater to check the net.
So just to clarify it: I'd connect to VO1BT which is part of the Newfoundland repeater link system, I'd use VO1BT to connect to VO1ARG or 1 of the other echolink repeaters in the system and then connect to KY2D through 1 of those echolink repeaters.
I'm pretty sure it can be done but knowing how. LOL
