Hi, folks.

Well, this morning, the XYL and I figured out what the problem was in terms
of importing Travel Plus repeater data into the TMV71A.

We were trying to use Travel Plus version 11, and were never able to find
the TPE file type on the file type selection menu when we tried to export
and save the Travel Plus data for later inport into the TMV71A.

Interestingly, even though version 11 doesn't have theTPE file type, the
earlier version of Travel Plus (version 10), does indeed have that file type
as an option.

So, go figure!

Why the ARRL doesn't include the TPE file option in version 11 of Travel
Plus is beyond me. Sounds like a step backwords in my opinion!

I am seriously thinking of contacting someone at ARRL HQ about this, but
don't know who.

Any thoughts?
