HI folks,

SInce Harvey mentioend it I thought I'd fill y'all in on what I was
doing.

WEdnesday night we went up to the ST. Charles tap for good steaks and
a high ball. After dinner and a drink I returned home, I'd been
helping out some with the emergency net on 7285khz. dOn't have 75
operational yet, hopefully this weekend.

Anyway, THursday I ended up taking net control for the emergency net
on 40 meters for two hours that morning, handling a couple of messages
for the SAlvation army locally and then being ncs for the central area
traffic net and fifth region nets later on that afternoon.

I know that 444.975 repeater was having some problems here in New
Orleans, but 146.86 and 147.06 were still oeprational, and I heard
quite a bit of traffic on 444.700.

Btw curious which repeater you hang out on Harvfey.
