In addition to Gary's instructions for ordering the display of your
messages, you should go into Tools, Options and on the tab of the dialog
you land on, check the box which says "Go Directly To My Inbox". Hit
ENTER and you're set. Saves much confusion.

Try this, while in your message list alt V for the view menu and arrow
down
to layout... and press enter. I have only these items checked.
folder bar
folder list
status bar
tool bar
If you want the last message that came in at the bottom go back to the
view
menu and arrow down to sort by sub menu. right arrow to open it. check
the
recieved if it's not already by pressing enter. Also you need to check
sort
ascending with enter. Gary

Subject: OUTLOOK EXPRESS

Hi Guys,
I have a problem using Outlook Express. I am using the newest version.
To
access my emails, I first have to do Alt F4 and shut down the program.
Then
I have to bring it back up and then I tap the tab key to get my first
email,
actually it is the last email and I have to work through them backwards.
It
would be nice to just access email without going through all the other
stuff. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't figure it out. Thanks.
