No, stamp collecting takes up as much time as trying to figure this
stuff out. Was using mmtty and was able to capture some signals, but
not send. Isn't there an rtty xit key or something like that on the
480. Had read the instructions for the SignalLink, could create a
rtty tone, and the thing worked when I hit f9. Only problem was that
it went through my computer's sound system and didn't trip the tx on
my radio. By contrast, used Digipan, and it did go into tx mode, but
had trouble decoding. So, go figure.
As for stamps, if i had done that over the 35 years I've been a ham,
might have had a small nest egg, hi, hi.--Matt, N1IBB.
