Several of you asked me when my article was scheduled to be published in CQ
Magazine, and Rich, the editor, couldn't give me a definite month at this
point. He said he puts all accepted articles in a file and publishes them
whenever he has room.

Do any of you know where we can receive assessable copies of CQ Magazine? We
used to get it from HandiHams, but evidently, it is no longer available.

Ron, K8HSY

Dr. Ron, Man, what a feat! that is indeed a noteworthy accomplishment!I'm
sure that there are a number of hams and electronic aces trying to
accomplish the same goal, but you actually did it.

Do you know when your article will be published?

It seems that lately I have been the bearer of bad news in most of my posts
to the list, e.g. circuit breaker problems, ALS-1306 problems, etc. Well, I
have something good to report for a change; at least, it is good from my
viewpoint. One of my goals was to publish an article in CQ Magazine, and
today I received a message from CQ Magazine's editor that they accepted one
of my articles. Actually, it is one that I asked a couple of you to review
for me before I sent out. It is the one titled:

Are We Placing Emphasis On The Wrong Objective?

As an academic, I published scholarly articles in numerous academic
journals, like the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, among
many others, but now that I am retired, I can write on more fun and
interesting topics, like ham radio and fishing. <lol>
