Kathleen, K5KKD, wants to give it a shot, so look for her on
either 20 meters and above tomorrow afternoon, or on 75
meters tomorrow evening.

She hasn't done a contest before, but saw how much fun I
have been having with the CW contests, and she wants to try
one on SSB for a little while, at least.

Subject: North American QSO Party SSB Contest This Week-end!

Hi, all.

Is anyone planning to play in the North American QSO Party
SSB contest this
week-end?

The contest runs from 1800 Z tomorrow afternoon until 0600 Z
Sunday morning.
That translates into 1 p.m. tomorrow afternoon until 1 A.m.
Sunday morning,
eastern time. Maximum operating time is 10 out of the 12
contest hours.

The contest will be on the SSB portions of the usual contest
bands from 10
through 160 meters.

The exchange is very simple-just name, and state/province.

One nice thing about this contest is that everyone is
limited to a maximum
of 100 watts, which evens the playing field considerably.

If you will be playing in the contest, have fun, and I hope
to work you on
one of the bands.
