Unfortunately, every hobby has weirdos, crackpots and criminals.  A person
must be discerning, whether listening to ham (or commercial) radio,
watching TV or even reading books.  Some people in commercial broadcasting
sound more like CBers than professionals.  You have to be discerning on
the internet, too.  I get some terrible spam and I can't press the d key
fast enough!
