John,
I think that the West Mountain ones have fuses in them, the Power Werx units 
are very small, you can plug them together if you need more connectors in 
the circuit and the power goes straight through as they are not fused.

I have the west mountain radio CD power strips, 1 at home and 1 in my go
kit, is that along the same lines? Those are a great thing to have too I
find.
