I heard Lowell working someone on 7191 after that, so I wasn't
completely correct. But I have terrible line noise these days and wouldn't
have heard you at all.

Hi, Lloyd:
Just to let you know, shortly after 4:00 PM, just below 7.191 Mhz, I
heard you say: "W3IUU QRY". And then you were gone, and there was, of
course, a lot of background hash. But your signal was, I'd say, a 5 by 6.
Will try again tomorrow at 4:00 PM on 20 meters.

I don't expect we'll have much luck with the 40-meter roundtable this
afternoon, because the New York QSO Party and the Jamboree on the Air are
both active around 7191.
The German WAG SSB and CW contest is going on from 1500Z today to 1500Z
tomorrow, and I was pleased to find that we had an opening from here to much
of Europe on 10 meters today from about 1600 to 1700. I worked about 45
German stations on 10, with 100 watts and with the beam stuck a little east
of north. Fifteen meters has been good to Europe for several mornings, and
will probably still be good tomorrow.
