Your standard Fm radio will continue to work as before as will the am
radios but only on the analogue signals.

This is a continuation of the digitization of our media listening and
distribution methodologies. Ultimately until we all have digital
encoded spread spectrum broadcasting and reception these hybrid systems
will continue.

What is next for broadcast radio. FM gonna go this way too? Will
this change for AM radio mean current AM radios will be useless?

I replaced the headlights on my car with strobe lights. Now it looks
like I'm the only one moving.
