well, you could get on ten meters with an internet capable cell phone with 
an OS that supports skype...which most of the newer ones do.
that is, if you had an HF station that you could remote to.
I'm somewhat surprised HRD hasn't released an IPhone app yet...
and, if you have an IPhone, you could use Echolink to connect to an HF 
station...of course, John would probably have a heart attack if he new an up 
standing blind ham was using a touch screen phone to access echolink lol.
