I have an article, written by Bill Gerrey in the old Smith-Kettlewell 
Technical File, which describes how to solder UHF connectors, such as 
Pl-259, onto RG8 or RG58-type coax.  It is written from the perspective of a 
blind person.

I can send it as an attachment to anyone who wants it.  I did this several 
years ago, so some folks on the list may know it already.
