I don't think the price has changed, I bought mine for $919, the DVR was
about $65, but it cost me $175 to purchase the 500Hz filter and have it
installed.  I might have done better if I had purchased the filter with the
radio and insisted I wouldn't buy it if they didn't put the filter
in.  That would bring the price down to $129.  I hear it really shines in
the car, a friend of mine likes it a lot better than his 706, and it runs
much cooler.
The duel noise blankers are effective as well.
