You're sure right.  Kenwood or any of the big three gets the price of the 
whole package just for their accessories.  I remember when I bought my f6, 
I spent well over a hundred bucks by the time I bought the case, car 
adapter, programming cable and so forth.  And, if the Chinese are building 
these things that cheap, makes me wonder what the big three's costs are to 
manufacture, say an f6.
