exactly, if you just go by the book, that's not always the best way to go, 
there are certain things the book says to do on the air that really isn't 
done like calling CQ on a repeater but it does suggest that in the book so 
we give them examples and then some times in breaks we'll send some one 
outside with an HT or to his mobile and we'll talk on a repeater to see what 
we can stir up and for the next class since it won't be a building that's in 
a lot of use, I'm thinking about bringing my go kit to a class and just 
showing them a quick HF QSO. Maybe even like a portable HF setup like an 
Icom 703 if I get a good deal one, but my 706 will do with the yoyo antenna 
or something.
