I do have a 990, I hate to admit it, I have six hf radios, and that 
doesn't count the tube rigs.  I kept the 2000 for two meter side band. 
I have an icom 718 and an ft897d, (not a blind friendly radio at all), 
that I won the ame year my wife died.  I never win anything, so I should 
have figured something was going to happen when I won two hf rigs in the
