My FT950 has arrived.  First operating problem is coming up with the correct
cabling to interface it to the Astron SS30 switching power supply I bought
(this is my first solid-state HF rig).  I counted 57 push buttons and rocker
switches, plus about 10 rotary knobs.  But in spite of all those controls,
there are 118 menu items and you can only assign one of them to a rotary
control at a time using the custom switch button.  This includes things like
the transmit power level and the digital noise reduction.  That's why I
expect to do a lot with Ham Radio Deluxe, especially at first.

I'll keep you posted on my progress, but it may be a few days.
