Yep I love good discussions.
One funny twist to this some what related but not really.
This same salesman I sent him another inquiry about yet another radio
they sell in the catigory under business radios.
This is a company called BlackBox I think and the radio advertized on
this websight is a BlackBox base radio that sits on a desk or I think it
can even be hung on a wall.
Uhf it goes from 440 up to I think 470 or some where in that range.
Vhf covers the 2 meter band as well so it is a duel band radio
advertized as a business radio but it covers all the 2 meter ham band
and the 440 to 450 uhf ham band.
This so called Business radio is front face programmable.
Really, It sounds like this radio would be a good little low power desk
radio.
It even comes with the little power unit to plug into the wall.
I even went over some of the detales of the radio like I did here so he
could look it up and know what I was talking about.
There is no telling what kind of an answer I will get if I get one at all.
You know I just love picking at sales people especially over the internet.
