They don't scare me, I just never open attachments unless I recognize the 
file extension, almost never open links in emails unless I *know* it's good 
and throw away all those virus warnings and the emails verifying my email 
address some people use as spam guard and use a real virus scanner instead 
of that free peace of crap that finds what's not there and not what is, and 
I've been good, (knock on wood) for about 9 years since I got one. The one 
time I got one I'd been online about 6 months and didn't know any better 
about attachments, after a format and a 2 week fight with the idiots at dell 
about why my modem driver wouldn't install, I was all set.
