I never had a problem with my G5RV other than the second one breaking a few 
times and I think that's because we pulled the feed line too tight when we 
first put it up. It's not a bad antenna, I swapped it with the cobra ultra 
lite last week and like that better, but got another G5RV to have around as 
a spare. They don't do very well 10 through 15 meters as would be expected 
since they're so long, but I can't complain on any of the other bands.
