Gery, there is the ICOM IC-9100.  It's newer than the 2000, and covers the 
same frequency ranges.  It has the newer roofing filters, although it only 
comes with 2 of the three.  It does have some speech capability, but I think 
it only can speak frequency, mode, and SWR.

I am going to start modifying JJRadio to support this rig.  As a matter of 
fact, I'm picking one up to work with tomorrow.  A friend is letting me 
borrow it for that purpose.
