Hi Howard,

Thanks for the info. A couple of questions:

1. Where do you get K1000?

2. Do you run theK1000 in the stream?
3.If not what is the process to open the file and save it in mp3?
Thanks for the help,
Vince Santis, N1VS

Subject: Re: Victor Reader Stream voices

I hate those voices to! What I do, is open the file I want to read on the
stream in k1000. Then I select the voice and speed I like to listen to.
Then I create mp3 files, and make a folder in the $vr music folder. Then I
listen to my book on the stream with the voices I like.
Their are other programs that will convert text to mp3 audio files if you
don't have k1000.

You could use your screen reader and goldwave if necessary.

Its one of the reasons why I won't mind finding an excuse to replace my
stream.
