Just keeps going, no beeps or anything, and no way to get to a default
setting. In my opinion, and I have one I won years back, not a good
radio for a blind person. A real pain. I should really sell it I
suppose. It is really to bad it doesn't talk, a nice compact rig that
covers all modes through 440.

When you rotate the knob to select, do the keep scrolling in circle or can you learn what the bottom row is, twist the knob 6 or 7 revolutions to get to the bottom and gently rotate the other way, counting the bumps in the knob to get to lets say the filter selections and press the A B or C key as needed?

I'm thinking the FT-857D/897D radios ABC and multi knob selection method works this way. Its a shame but I don't think there are much options for us blind folks for a somewhat portable 160/70CM all mode rig available unless we get a TS-480/transverter combo, TS-2000 and remote head or old IC-706.
