My thought was to use that new soldering iron for things like antenna work. All
in all, if tips are going to be a problem I'm not sure it would be worth the
trouble.

Apparently the model rat shack is selling comes with one tip. There are
actually three types of tips from very small to a "spade tip" available for it
but tips are very definitely a problem to come by. Its advantage is that it
supposedly heats and cools quite rapidly which might enable a blind person to
use it to good effect in basic applications such as soldering wires etc.
