Most clicky buttons have a little metal disk that is
curved such that it pops when it is trapped in a holder and you
press on it. When you release the pressure, it pops again until
the day it stays bent at which point it doesn't move as far and
stops clicking. You are lucky it still works as sometimes, they
stay jammed in the down position as if you were pushing the
button even when you are not. They will have to remove the old
assembly and put in a new springy disk. How much trouble/cost
that is depends on whether they designed the buttons to be
repairable or have to change the whole keyboard assembly.
