For the brave among you  here is the  link  to the firmware update.

Look down the page for the link that says something about "note  to ts 2000
owners Jan. 2005" or something like that.  A new window will open with info
about firmware 1.04

I also re read some of the  old post about failure during updates.  One guy
had to  load the service software which is available but not legally, on the
net, before his  update would take.    Several others had to go into device
manager and change fifo settings in the comm port to get it  to work.

Again, not trying to  scare anyone.  It may work fine for you.  Just be
aware of  the whole picture before you  push the button and  blow out the
old firmware.

Finally, I think if Kenwood could  have solved the  Sky Command  problem
with the FCC with a firmware update, they would have done it 4 years ago.
