The TS-2000 has an internal tuner. I don't care for the 15 watts it costs 
you but the 480, 570, and probably most other ones, especially the new relay 
tuners in radios are no better so I run an LDG external tuner. I don't see 
near the power drop in that and the tuning range is a lot more broad with 
the external tuner. There is an internal tuner in the TS-2000 though if 
you'd rather use that.
