Jim,

Thank you.  brought up some sort of a dialog box

I got the speech working again, I guess I accidently found some pass
through key commands that muted my speakers.  After I turnedon  magic and
pumped it up to 16X I was able to unmute the speakers .  Now it looks like
I get to spen a few hours in the JAWS help files trying to figure out how
to turn it on and  off.
