Thanks to you and everyone else who attempted to run the net and take relays 
today.  You did an absolutely outstanding job under extremely challenging 
conditions.


20 meters was about as rough as I have ever heard it here in West-Central 
Lower Michigan, and I have lived here for 21 years, except for the one year 
we were out in Colorado.

Early this evening, signals on 20 were up somewhat, but the band was not 
nearly what it usually is, even in the summer months in these parts.

As everyone knows, I will miss the net for the next few week-ends, but 
hopefully when I join you again in mid August, the worst of these conditions 
will be behind us.

We attempted to meet on 14258.  Thank you to everyone who tried to check in.
I'm not yet sure what happened with the sun and the earth's magnetic field,
but it certainly was interesting.  I could hear almost all of the stations
on the following list, at least part of the time, the exceptions being KW3A
and KK3F.  In case you were wondering about an AM station you occasionally
heard, my brother, W6PR, checked in from Lohrville, Iowa with the DX100 he
had repaired.  After the net we went down to 14167 and talked for an
additional hour.  I have the following stations logged:
