Hello Tom,  The modification is quite an easy one,  where on the talking SWR
meter there two buttons,  this one has three  the tone button is the  one to
the right  when press in it gives an audible tone of which  you can start to
tune the a t u in to an of course it does change when  adjusting the
antenna,  I am using a G5RV antenna and I have a extremely high SWR like
over 9,  I cannot remember off hand how much exter the audible tone was but
I am very pleased with it,  Why don't you contact Remy and get him to tell
you more about it.  Sorry I cannot be more prossice
